Profile
iFly opened its first facility in 1998 with the dream of empowering people to experience the freedom and thrill of flying. Since opening its first location in Orlando, more than 10 million people of all ages and abilities have spread their wings in iFly's wind tunnels. Overall, there are over 80 locations worldwide in countries including the US, Canada, Brazil, France, New Zealand, Australia, UK, China and Singapore.
iFly has done more than build buildings, they have created a global community of flying enthusiasts, pioneered the sport of body flying and emerged as a world leader. on vertical wind tunnel technology.
A few decades ago, they created amazing technology that made it possible for humans to fly, and when the first wind tunnel was opened, it was called "Generation 1". Since then, iFly has been constantly innovating to make their wind tunnels more sophisticated and they are now working on their Generation 9.
The technology that makes travelers fly are wind tunnels in which air is moved in a precise and sophisticated way. The four propellers inside the tunnel are optimally positioned to ensure a quality flow that allows the air to go around a simple and efficient loop. Airflow is narrowed below the flight deck for increased speed and smooth airflow for maximum enjoyment.
All these advancements in technology make it possible for iFly to deliver the smoothest airflow, creating the most comfortable flying experience. iFLY tunnels are increasingly environmentally friendly - they require less than a third of the capacity of a horizontal wind tunnel running at the same speed.
The entire flight experience will take about 1-2 hours. Upon arrival and check-in, guests will participate in a personal training session before preparing to fly. They will then provide a jumpsuit, helmet, goggles and earplugs to the participants. During flights, instructors teach travelers how to move their bodies and adjust their posture while flying.
In addition, iFly also provides event venues such as conferences, birthday parties, educational programs for those who are interested and want to organize with this special activity.
