Sapa Stone Church was built in 1895, designed and built by a French architect. This work is one of the few imprints of the French that have remained intact until today on the tourist land of Sapa. The materials used to build the columns and walls of the church are hewn stones linked together by a mixture of lime, sand, and molasses. The church area consists of 7 compartments over 500m2, the bell tower is 20m high, in the tower there is a bell 1.5m high, cast in 1932, weighing 500 kg, you can hear the echo of the bell within a radius of nearly one kilometer. . In front of the church is a spacious and airy courtyard, where every day ethnic people gather to buy and sell and exchange goods, on weekends this area becomes more bustling with tourists.
