Profile
Bai Xep, also known as Xep beach, is located in the north of Tuy Hoa city, in An Chan commune, Tuy An district, about 14 km from Tuy Hoa city to the north, about 500m long. When you come here, you will be surprised and admiring the natural beauty of the mountains and rivers, along with the natural rocks lined up side by side.
Because it has not been explored much, Bai Xep still retains its inherent wildness. This place has a beautiful shape of a unique beach. The sunny yellow sand beach embraces the turquoise-like blue sea, creating a wonderful and beautiful nature. With a length of about 500m, Xep beach has an undulating black rock beach on the left that looks like a small rocky mountain range, with stone feet running into the sea, creating an airtight seat to admire the charming sea view and an impressive highlight. It is a symbol for Bai Xep and is a place where lovers record happy and romantic moments together. When the waves crash into white foam up to several meters high, those are moments that are hard to miss. The rocky cape on the right looks far away like a smooth green grass hill with a flat hill surface. Come to Bai Xep Phu Yen, immerse yourself in the cool blue water, breathe in the fresh air with the taste of the sea. Roaming along the cliffs along the shore, spreading your heart in the endless immensity of the sea and sky. At this time, all worries and sorrows seem to disappear. Follow the small trail to discover the big rocks in Bai Xep, you will admire the unforgettable natural scenery. The dense cactus beach juts out right in front of the sea on the towering rocks, interspersed with interesting patches of dry grass. The sound of the wind blowing and the waves crashing against the shore create pleasant sounds.
When coming here, you not only admire the poetic natural scenery but also immerse yourself in the rustic and simple life with the quiet rhythm of the people of Phu Yen beach. On summer afternoons, you will see innocent children roaming around, having fun and flying kites on the vast lawns, or people working hard on the beach. Not far from the water's edge, you can choose for yourself a spot at the giant straw mushrooms growing on the beach for visitors to sunbathe, watch the sea or read a book.
And when coming to Bai Xep, you cannot ignore the unique seafood specialties of Phu Yen that you can hardly find anywhere else, such as tuna. Right by the windy beach, you can taste the different flavors of tuna stomach salad, tuna eyes with Chinese medicine, fresh tuna rolls with mustard green leaves, fish fin curry...
The best time to depart is from February to August every year. This is the dry season in this South Central region, so the weather and travel conditions are very favorable. From September to December is the time of heavy rain and rough seas of Phu Yen, visitors should limit travel or sightseeing. In particular, the period from early February to early March is still not very hot, so it will be the best time to experience. From April onwards, tourists when traveling to Phu Yen need to equip themselves with cream and full sun protection clothes to avoid heatstroke.
A small but very important note is that you remember to bring an umbrella, because even if you go to the rocky beach or up to the cliff with many brush trees, there will not be any shelter or shade. At the bottom, there is a water counter, there are tables and chairs for you to rest and there is a fresh water bath service for visitors to swim.
