Ham Ho eco-tourism area is located in Phu My village, Tay Phu commune, Tay Son district, about 50km northwest of Quy Nhon city. Ham Ho is a short river about 3km, the meeting point of two tributaries of Dong Huu and Kut rivers flowing back into the Phu Phong River, along both sides of the river an ancient green forest interspersed with high cliffs. dotted by a number of granite outcrops with many different shapes.
From the welcome gate area, visitors will take a boat ride about 500m on a small canal leading to the lake bed, made up of many streams flowing back. Along the banks of the canal, you can relax in the mountain scenery, listen to the stream flowing, the birds sing in your ears, the fatigue seems to disappear.
The real beauty of Ham Ho is the creation of nature right in the riverbed with many marble columns of many shapes. In the dry season, the sky is blue, when the rays of the sun shine down on the marble blocks with brilliant colors, like thousands of diamonds in the clear blue water. Down the river, the boat will take visitors through the poetic landscapes such as: Hon Chuong, Ban Co Tien, Vung Ca Roi, Lo Nau Ruou, Giant Footprints, ... Tourists can participate in activities. There are other things here such as: boating on the Kut River and fishing, walking in the forest, bathing in the stream or just relaxing at one of the stilt houses on either side of the river.
In addition, visitors can visit Hoa Loc Vung Restaurant with a capacity of 300 guests, to enjoy the specialties here such as: fried Muong fish rolled with rice paper and wild vegetables, roti snails that live in rock crevices.
The right time to visit Ham Ho eco-tourism area is from February to July, when the weather is relatively cool and pleasant.
