Ke Ga Lighthouse

Ke Ga Lighthouse is located in Thuan Quy commune, Ham Thuan Nam district, about 30km from the center of Phan Thiet city. The lighthouse is so named because the lighthouse is located on a ledge shaped like a chicken.

The lighthouse was built in February 1897 under the design of French architect Snavat, the stone lighthouse is 35m high, 65m from sea level to the lighthouse on the lighthouse. On the top of the lighthouse is a large light bulb with a capacity of 2,000W that can illuminate a radius of 22 nautical miles equivalent to 40km, playing an important role in ensuring maritime safety for the area at night.
