Gorilla Brewing Co. was founded in Busan in 2015 by two British nationals: Andy Green (Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer), Paul Edwards (Co-Founder and Head of Brewing Operations). Just a few blocks from Gwangalli Beach, Gorilla Brewing Co. occupies a large warehouse-like space, with the brewery on the first floor and the tasting room upstairs. A large, airy space with a standard brewery-industrial vibe - long wooden tables, tall metal benches and chairs, concrete and brick wall faucets and bars - features Gorilla's best is the wide-open windows, which greatly attract traffic and pedestrians below.

Gorilla Brewing harvests their hops, the flower that is the main ingredient in brewing, from a farm in Gyeongsangbuk-do province, so that they retain their distinctive local fresh flavor. A total of 11 taps dedicated to Gorilla beer (all brewed on the first floor), including the signature Gorilla IPA (hoppy, tropical, a little creamy) and the Beer Championship winner Asia 2018 - Busan Pale Ale, light and clear, with flavors of citrus and jasmine. Two collaborative products are also available: “Slow Boat Project” – a not-so-sour sour beer brewed with the Slow Boat Brewery in Beijing, and “Seoul to Busan” – a giant, sloppy dark beer but very tasty brewed with Seoul Brewery that reeks of rum, maple syrup, chocolate and frozen spiced fruit.

The tasting room at Gorilla Brewing also has at least 12 taps available to guests, each night the beer variety can vary and often includes beers from Korean breweries such as Wild Wave Brewing Co., Seoul Brewery, Galmegi Brewing Co. and Magpie Brewing Co.

The menu served at Gorilla is a combination of Korean and Western pub cuisine. Guests here can enjoy delicious beer and great snacks such as hamburgers, Korean fried chicken, fish and chips, burgers and salads, and many other novelty dishes that are regularly changed in the restaurant. menu.
