“From Michelin chef to master of the art of french fries.”

French fry in Berlin commonly known as "Pommes" or "Fritte" is a very popular snack after a night of drinking by the locals. Kajo Hiesl and Vladislav Gachyn are two chefs who became close friends after an apprenticeship at the Michelin-starred restaurant VAU in Berlin, and together they founded Goldies. The opening of Goldies in the regional heart of Kreuzberg's bars and nightclubs in early 2017 was an all-out assault on the potato chip theme, crafted by a duo of highly trained professionals with a passion for the game. perfecting the art of making french fries.

From the very beginning, Vladislav and Kajo realized that just serving fries wouldn't make their 25-seat restaurant profitable, so the duo paired some mouth-watering side dishes. One of the notable dishes was “Odessa's Beeten” – a dish inspired by Vladislav’s childhood Ukrainian roots with beets, horseradish mayo (horseradish), cabbage, shredded carrots, dill and a shot vodka. “Miso Furikake” – a dish with a little Asian flavor with miso mayonanaise, honeysuckle and Furikake sesame seeds. Berlin-themed “Eisbein” with boiled pork loin, just the right amount of sauekraut (sauerkraut) and crispy pork skin.

Goldies is a place where diners can enjoy the best "Pommes" in Berlin with unique accompaniments that make an unforgettable impression.
