Agrasen Ki Baoli is an ancient, peaceful and interesting stepwell in the heart of Delhi. This is also one of the places to receive the prestigious Travelers choice award in 2020 voted by travelers on the famous travel review website Tripadvisor.

With a length of 60m and a width of 15m, Agrasen Ki Baoli is a complex structure consisting of 108 steps going down to the well. When going deep into the step well, visitors will feel a cold cover.

Legend has it that in the past, the water in the well was filled with magic, if anyone looked down, they would lose consciousness and automatically jump down. Today, the well has dried up and is home to hundreds of bats. Agrasen Ki Baoli is preserved by the Archaeological Service of India, and although there is no historical record of who built the Stepwell Agrasen Ki Baoli, it is believed that it was originally built by the king. Based on the structures in the arched corridors remaining to this day, the structure is believed by archaeologists to have been rebuilt in the 14th century during the Tughlag period of the Delhi Sultanate.

Agrasen Ki Baoli is not only a historical attraction, it is also a favorite place of many film crews, and has been used to film scenes in many Bollywood movies.
