Palatine Hill

Palatine Hill is one of seven hills in Rome, Italy. Standing on this hill, visitors can observe the entire complex of ancient Roman ruins.
According to Roman mythology, the Palatine Hills were the location of caves called Lupercal, where Romulus and Remus were found by the female wolves Lupa fed them. According to this legend, the Faustulus shepherds found the babies. When these children died of old age, it was decided to build a new city of their own on the banks of the Tiber.
Currently, Palatine Hill is only a ruin with a lot of relics and antiquities there. The hill is not too high above the ground and visitors can climb it without too much effort, from here looking at the entire complex of ancient Roman ruins.
