Kaohsiung Urban Park is a large-scale public park of Kaohsiung City. This is the first forest model park in the area, which is a familiar outdoor entertainment and relaxation place for people in the surrounding area. This is a great place to educate children about environmental awareness. There is a sundial in the park square in the shape of a golden rooster. The park is open all day to visitors and is free of charge. To get to Kaohsiung Urban Park, from the city center you can take the Taiwan High Speed Rail (Taiwan High Speed Rail) to Zuoying Station or Kaohsiung MRT (take the red line).
