Bach Dang Park is very large with a length of more than 6km, extending from the Naval Academy area to near Tran Phu Bridge. In particular, when viewed from above, the park looks like a dark green ribbon nestled on the long white sand bank, looking extremely beautiful and impressive.
Thanks to its location on Tran Phu coastal road, visitors can easily move to Bach Dang park by various means. If your hotel is near Tran Phu Bridge, just a few steps walk to Bach Dang Park to walk around and enjoy the scenery. In case you are further away, you can take a taxi or rent a motorbike.
You should visit Bach Dang Park in the late afternoon after exploring Hon Chong - Hon Vo. Coming to the park at this time, you will have the opportunity to watch the beautiful sunset over the sea. Coming to Bach Dang Park in the Nha Trang travel itinerary, the first thing that impresses visitors is the 10m high monument of the talented general who defeated the Mongol invaders three times - Tran Hung Dao. Tran Hung Dao monument built in the early 60s of the last century is a proud symbol of Nha Trang people.
Behind the monument is a large relief over 18m long, 3.5m high, made of granite. In particular, there is an excerpt from Hich Tuong Si written by Tran Hung Dao with sophisticated sculptures and images of his resounding battles.
In addition to the towering Tran Hung Dao monument, right in Bach Dang park there is a memorial house for Tran Hung Dao and the marshals of the Tran dynasty. This work was built in the style of communal house in the Northern Delta, harmonizing yin and yang, extremely lively and sacred.
Another interesting thing in Bach Dang Park that visitors should not miss is the sea poison tree taken from the end of the Truong Sa archipelago and the 21 stones of sovereignty over the Truong Sa archipelago donated by the Navy to Khanh Hoa province. These things remind locals as well as tourists of dear Truong Sa and always have a sense of protecting national sovereignty.
