Khanh Lam Mang Den Pagoda

Khanh Lam Pagoda is one of the quite special destinations in the population of Mang Den tourist area. This place helps tourists from all over the world get rid of worries, sorrows, hardships and worries of daily life to enjoy the fresh air and peaceful moments in their souls.

Khanh Lam Pagoda was built on an area of about 10 hectares, on a primeval hill, over 1,200m above sea level. The pagoda started in March 2012 but it was only preliminary completed in 2017. From the foot of the hill, following the entrance of the front gate, visitors have to step through more than 200 stone steps, in the sound of the wind in the midst of the immense vastness to reach the main hall of the temple. Here, visitors will admire a majestic and solemn temple hidden under the luxuriant forest trees, a peaceful and pure beauty that captivates people's hearts. The architecture of the pagoda is a unique combination between the traditional temple architecture and the Rong house architecture, imbued with the cultural identity of the Central Highlands with many detailed carvings. The main hall is located in the middle of the courtyard, featuring a 3-storey roof structure. The roof is red tile and has a curved architecture upwards. Inside the main hall, there is a model of a small pagoda displayed inside. In the middle is to worship Amitabha Buddha. On either side are different Buddha statues. Placed along the two sides of the main courtyard, in front of the two rows of Tay Lan and Dong Lan houses are statues of 18 life-size Arhats, with different shades, dignified and majestic. Especially the outer yellow coating makes these statues more prominent. In front of the main hall, along with the bell tower, the drum floor is a 17m high statue of Guan Yin Bodhisattva and a symmetrical lotus pond, creating a harmonious and attractive landscape.
