Profile
Housed in a baroque building in the romantic Grosse Rittergrasse of Alt-Sachsenhausen, Bonechina is a destination dedicated to the art of drinking, a project whose theme is “meditation on bars, not on bars.” normal bar”. The focal point of the room is a black porcelain elephant with a geometric design like the wall tiles. Inside the elephant is a tonic water that the shop makes itself and guests can collect tonic water from it to make their own drink.
Bonechina is a combination of table service and a house party. When bartenders take a guest's order, they lead the guest into the bar space and explain how to make a drink. Some cocktails are pre-mixed and guests only need to place a flavored ice cube in the glass before pouring the wine.
The bar can only seat 12 people at a time and guests will ring the bell to be led inside.
