The Lanna Folk Life Museum was officially opened on August 13, 2016 by Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presiding over the opening ceremony. The museum is an initiative of Chiang Mai City Mayor Tussanai Buranupakorn with the aim of revitalizing Lanna culture, educating young generations about the distinctive culture and history of Northern Thailand, as well as turning the museum into a museum. a new tourist spot in the old town. Inside the Lanna Folk Life Museum are 18 different exhibits that showcase the past life of the Lanna people. Although there aren't many historical artifacts in the museum, there are detailed scenes of everyday life with life-size wax dolls dressed in traditional costumes. The museum has two floors but the scale is quite small and it usually only takes you about an hour to explore everything.
