Nostalgia - Duddell, Central
Located in the heart of Trung Hoan, the design is inspired by the traditional Hong Kong-style cafes of the 50s called “bing sutt”, the predecessor of the “cha chaan teng” model. “Very popular in this day and age. The literal meaning of “bing sutt” is the ice room, a simple, traditional restaurant model; Here customers can enjoy traditional drinks (such as tea, coffee) and snacks. Antique floral tiled floors, brass latched windows, folding stools, and vintage ceiling fans are reminiscent of the days without air conditioning. The menu is presented in Chinese and decorated on the wall, there is another English version in paper for you to easily choose your favorite. In order to enhance the authenticity of the restaurant's theme, the menu is added with local snacks and organized by themes such as snacks, snacks, desserts. Typical dishes include: coffee egg tarts, coffee paper cakes, red bean pudding and sweet pumpkin soup with sago.

If you have the opportunity to visit the area of Mongkok (Mongkok), you should not miss another Starbucks branch in Hong Kong, with a special design honoring Hong Kong's longstanding film industry. This is a nostalgic themed cafe that showcases pride and admiration for Hong Kong's longstanding film industry, which is known worldwide as the 'Hollywood of the East'. With a floor space of 6,000 square meters, it is one of the largest Starbucks branches in Hong Kong. To create this very unique space, Starbucks has partnered with famous Hong Kong artist Stanley Wong and famous brand GOD. Following the narrow stairs to enter the cafe's premises, you will start encounter traditional calligraphy paintings. Inside are pictures of old movie posters, vintage-style tiled floors, ceilings decorated with unique color patches, and a few pictures of famous movie characters on the walls. The top floor has a small auditorium where seminars, press conferences, and film events are held in cooperation with the Hong Kong Film Archive.
This is one of the few Starbucks branches in Hong Kong that is open until midnight from Sunday to Thursday and until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.

The shop specializes in serving unique roasted coffee, a leading premium product of Starbucks. Starbucks puts a lot of heart into its interior design, which showcases works by famous local artists. You'll find vintage posters and distinctive artwork hung on the walls. The dispensary has an open kitchen with a Black Eagle Espresso machine. In addition to premium draft beers, you'll find here exclusive desserts like custard cream croissants. The shop also has a community area with modern, state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment for recorded and broadcast performances and events.
