Dol hareubang is "grandfather - grandmother". This museum holds Dol hareubang statues to preserve the traditional cultural values of Jeju

Bukchon Dolhareubang Art Museum has collected various types of dol-harubang scattered throughout the province and has determined their aesthetic and academic value. The park is a place of education for students and a tourist attraction. We work hard to preserve dol-harubang, a precious cultural heritage, and pass it on to our children and grandchildren. Bukchon Dol-harubang Park is divided into several sections: 48 dol-harubang art reproductions, room explaining dol-harubang functions, walkway, dol-harubang reenactment gallery (reinterpretations) peace-themed dol-harubang), Jeju-style garden, and an experience center.

Harubang – humanoid stone statue is the special thing of Jeju. Harubang is a call for the guardian deity of the coastal village and is a symbol of health, family reunion, and prosperity.
