“The largest model railway system in the world and voted the most popular tourist attraction in Germany”

It all started in 2000, brothers Frederik and Gerrit Braun planned to build the world's largest model railway system. In August 2001, they were able to operate three miniatures of the entire system. Today, this miniature world covers 1000 square meters, with more views to explore.

At Hamburg Miniatur Wunderland, visitors will see a miniature Hamburg in 1:900, such as the landing bridge, Michel church, Speicherstadt with old warehouses, Kohlbrandt bridge, Hagenbeck zoo. Currently, Miniatur Wunderland has 7 mini wonderlands: the Hartz Mountains, the fictional town of Knuffingen, Austria, Switzerland, Sandinavia, Knuffingen Airport and the US. The latest construction is dedicated to different Italian landmarks. Small-scale versions of Monaco, Provence and South America and Asia have already begun to be drawn up for construction.

In addition, visitors can experience what can happen for days and nights in different parts of the world in just a few hours: gambling in Las Vegas, conquering the Alps, or sailing in fjords in Norway, anything is possible in this wonderland. Visit the Hamburg scene with 200,000 inhabitants, be mesmerized by 800 trains, 4,000 cars and ships, and an ocean of unique lights.
