For many visitors, the attraction of Ao Sane beach is the wildness and tranquility. There are no sun loungers to rent, no jet skis or kayaks, and no disturbing street vendors. However, there are still the most essential things for you to enjoy your stay such as fresh water showers, toilets along the beach and a restaurant serving food.
Ao Sane is never too crowded, but this 200-meter-long beach often attracts visitors who have come here back in the high season because they are used to the quiet here.
Ao Sane Beach has many large rocks, the sand here is rough and the coast has a steep slope, so it is not suitable for sports such as volleyball and beach soccer. However, this is a great place for scuba diving. You will have to bring your own mask and snorkeling kit as there are no rentals on the beach.
Ao Sane beach restaurant is a cozy place with good, cheap food and a relaxed atmosphere. It serves food from morning to late evening. You can also enjoy fine dining at The Nai Harn, a 5-star hotel about a 5-minute drive away.
