After being picked up from your hotel in the morning, enjoy a comfortable ride to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, where an exciting “walk in the clouds” on the Glass Bridge awaits you. Then in the afternoon, take the world’s longest cableway downtown to the top of Tianmen Mountain, known as the “soul” of Zhangjiajie, to gain insights into how mere human beings yield unusually brilliant results on its iconic Tianmen Cave (Heaven's Gate). Don’t worry, you will still be safely transferred to your hotel after the tour. Of course, our guide will always be glad to offer you budget-economized and appropriate advice on your food and accommodation if needed.

Meeting and pickup

Pick-up Service: We offer free pick-up & drop-off from hotels in Wulingyuan near East Gate of the National Forest Park, or downtown Zhangjiajie City.

Program schedule

7:30–8:30 AM: Hotel Pickup Meet your English-speaking guide at your hotel near the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park or in the city center.

Stop 1: Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon & Glass Bridge

Walk through lush valleys with waterfalls and streams, then cross the world’s longest and highest glass bridge for panoramic canyon views. Continue to lunch (not included).

Stop 2: Tianmen Mountain (Heaven’s Gate)

Ride the world’s longest cable car to the summit. Experience the Glass Skywalk, admire the natural karst cave “Heaven’s Gate,” and descend via escalators and express cable car.

Return

Your guide will escort you back to your hotel, concluding the group tour.

Departures are guaranteed with three persons.

Infant: for an infant under 3 years old, this tour is free of charge.

Age Limitation: 0 to 85 years old, and not wheelchair available.

Confirmation: Upon receiving your booking request, confirmation will be sent within 12 hours.

Payment: Full payment is required at least two days prior to the day trip. We accept payment by PayPal, Credit Card, Alipay, Wechat, and Bank Transfer.

Schedule: The sightseeing order of the attractions may be adjusted according to the real situations of the tour day.

Please kindly aware there will be more tourists in the peak season, so queuing at the entrance is unavoidable sometimes. Also, in public holidays like May Day from May 1st to 5th and National Day from Oct 1st to 7th, there might be large crowds and heavy traffic. We hope for your understanding on the situations.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation: Your payment is refundable if you cancel 48 hours prior to the trip except for the ticket cancellation fee (CNY60 per ticket) of Tianmen Mountain. Cancellation within 48 hours before departure is non-refundable.
