Your journey begins at 08:00, as you leave the bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh City behind and drive south to the heart of the Mekong Delta. Upon arriving in Cai Be, board a private boat and embark on a leisurely cruise along the delta’s waterways. As you glide through the river, enjoy the refreshing breeze and sample some of the freshest tropical fruits from the region.

After disembarking, hop on a bicycle and ride through a picturesque village, passing lush fruit gardens and getting a glimpse into the daily life of the locals. Along the way, stop by small family-run workshops where artisans craft traditional goods, learning about their age-old methods.

Next, experience the peaceful beauty of the delta from a sampan, rowing through narrow canals that wind through the verdant landscape. The boat will then take you through a bustling riverside area, where the busy riverbanks come alive with commerce and local boats.

Your journey continues with a visit to a traditional family home, still occupied by the same family for over four generations. Here, you’ll enjoy a home-cooked Mekong meal before strolling through the family’s orchard to see the fresh fruits ripening on the trees.

As the sun begins to set, board your boat for the return journey to Cai Be, where your transport will take you back to Ho Chi Minh City, filled with memories of a day spent exploring the hidden gems of the Mekong Delta.
