Program schedule

Day 1: Luang Prabang Arrival
Upon your arrival at Luang Prabang airport, you will be greeted and transferred to the hotel for check-in (early check-in subject to availability).
Today's itinerary is free of scheduled activities, allowing you to leisurely explore the charm of this ancient city on your own. Take a stroll to gain your initial impressions of the surroundings.

Day 2: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Caves – Evening Monk Chanting
Breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the city’s oldest temple, Wat Sensoukharam, which impresses with its vivid red and gold design, embodying the grace of Theravada Buddhist art. Nearby, Wat Xiengthong stands as a sacred symbol of enlightenment, renowned for its elegant roofs and detailed mosaics.
Then, we will embark on the leisurely cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside, before reaching the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, a 16th century cave monastery filled with thousands of Buddha images, which locates 25 Kilometers North of Luang Prabang in the limestone cliffs overlooking the Mekong River.
On arrival back in the city, continue our visit to Wat Visoun, the holiest temple of the city, which was entirely rebuilt in 1887 after being destroyed by the invading Black Flags from Southern China.
In the courtyard of Wat Visoun stands the Watermelon Stupa shaped like the fruit from which it takes its name. Continue past Wat Aham, which was first built in the 1500s, and on to Wat That where the ashes of King Sisavang Vong are kept inside the large central stupa.
Just a short 2-mile drive from Luang Prabang along the Nam Khan River takes us to Wat Phon Pao, a serene temple perched on a small hill, which is looked after by female monks. Built in the 1950s, its unique octagonal structure sets it apart. Inside, the temple impresses with vivid Buddhist murals, a second floor
showcasing Southeast Asian temple architecture, and a golden top floor reminiscent of the royal palace’s reception hall—an ultimate symbol of sacred elegance.
There, you quietly join the evening chanting ceremony, listening to the rhythmic, calming recitation of sacred texts by the monks.

Day 3: Alms Morning – Visiting The Pagodas – Monk Chat Experience
Wake up as the sun rises, we will prepare to join the most sacred tradition of Laos, the daily morning alms giving, which dates to the 14th century. More than 200 Buddhist monks depart from various temple to gather their daily meal from the faithful residents sitting quietly on the streets.
Embark on a day exploring the iconic temples of Luang Prabang, the former royal capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Accompanied by your local English-speaking guide, you'll begin your visit at Wat Siphouthabath Thippharam, a peaceful place where the sacred footprints of the Buddha are venerated.
You'll continue by exploring the Wat Xieng Mouane, known for its training of young monks in traditional arts. The wat shares a common wall with Wat Choum Khong, and the sims of the two monasteries share a similar pattern of pillars and facades. Wat Choum Khong, which exemplifies the traditional architecture of Luang Prabang. The name "Choum Khong" is derived from the raised boss in the center of a bronze gong, from which, it is suggested, the sim's central Buddha figure was partially made.
Afterward, visit Wat Phaphay, you are welcomed into the serene atmosphere of this sacred temple. During their visit, you will spend about an hour engaging in conversation with local monks, learning about their daily routines, spiritual practices, and monastic life. The experience offers deep insight into the peaceful rhythm and simplicity that define a monk’s existence.
The next pagoda is Wat Manorom, renowned for its ancient statue of the seated Buddha. The oldest large Buddhist statue in the city, it is about six meters high; some parts of the bronze are 15 cm thick.
An authentic cultural and spiritual immersion in the heart of Luang Prabang.
In the late afternoon, we will climb the 328 steps to the summit of Mount Phousi. Once you reach the summit, you can explore That Chomsi, a yellow stupa built in 1804. It is the highest point in central Luang Prabang, from where you can enjoy panoramic views of the city, the Mekong, and the Nam Khan River.

Day 4: Luang Prabang Departure - Hanoi Arrival
You are free to stroll around the town for your own exploration before taking the departure flight.
Upon arrival at Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide holding a sign with your name on it. After approximately 50 minutes to 1 hour transfer, you will be at your hotel for check-in (standard check in time 14:00pm, early check-in not included).

Day 5: Full Day Hanoi City Tour
Morning, start a full day city tour beginning with the Ho Chi Minh Complex which features the life of Ho Chi Minh, the nation’s founder. Explore Ba Dinh Square, an important point of pilgrimage for many Vietnamese, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh Museum and the rural style Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts where he lived and worked. Stop by one of Hanoi’s icons, the One Pillar Pagoda, built in the 11th Century in dedication to Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara or Buddha of Compassion and reminiscent of a lotus blossom rising from a pond. Continue to the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam built in 1070 by the Ly Dynasty to honor Confucius, sages and outstanding Vietnamese scholars.
Afternoon, visit Tran Quoc Pagoda - one of the oldest Pagoda in Vietnam. Next, visit Hoan Kiem Lake or “Returned Sword Lake” which originated from a legend of a sacred sword. On an islet in the lake, there locates Ngoc Son Temple which is accessible by a classically red painted wooden bridge. Touring through the Old Quarter, famous for its ancient streets representing traditional trades from the past by cyclo.

Day 6: Full Day Guided Meditation at Dia Tang Phi Lai Pagoda
You will be picked up in the morning from your hotel in Hanoi. The comfortable, private transfer will take you on a scenic drive through the countryside, arriving at Dia Tang Phi Lai Pagoda in approximately 1.5–2 hours. Use this quiet time for light reflection or to enjoy the beautiful landscape of Northern Vietnam.
Your day will be dedicated to a guided meditation session in a peaceful and spiritually significant pagoda. This will help you connect with your inner self, focusing on mindfulness and breathing techniques in a calm environment.

Day 7: Full Day Trang An - Bai Dinh Pagoda
Leave hotel in the morning for Trang An Eco-Tourism Complex. Take a rowing boat to discover the marvelous ecotourism complex where a system of unique grottoes like Ba Giot, Dia Linh, Toi (Dark cave), Sang (Bright cave), Ao Trai cave and Seo cave make this place both mysterious and attractive.
In the afternoon, drive to Bai Dinh pagoda, one of the biggest pagodas in Southeast Asia and explore the largest pagoda, the biggest bell and the highest statue in Southeast Asia.

Day 8: Full Day Hanoi - Huong Pagoda (Two Ways Cable Car)
Morning, our guide & driver meet you at hotel then transfer to Perfume Pagoda, one of the most famous pagodas in Vietnam, located about 70 km from Hanoi to the South. Perfume Pagoda is a vast complex of Buddhist temples and shrines built into the limestone mountains of Huong Tich. It is the site of a religious festival which draws large numbers of pilgrims from across Vietnam. After approximately 2 hours driving, you will arrive at Ben Duc boat pier. Then take an hour trip on a small boat-rowed by local people on the Yen stream to the foot of the mountain. You can enjoy beautiful mountain views en route. Continue to take the cable car to the main pagoda on the top of the mountain. Take photo & learn about Vietnam history, Buddhism religion then goes down by cable car.
Afternoon, spending one more hour on the boat back to the pier, say good bye to local people and drive back to Hanoi.

Day 9: Hanoi Departure - Siem Reap Arrival
After breakfast, enjoy your final moments in Hanoi. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for one last stroll or meditation session before your transfer to the airport for departure.
Upon arrival at Siem Reap Angkor International Airport, greeting by our friendly tour guide, transferred direct to hotel (Check in time is 14:00)

Day 10: Siem Reap – Full Day Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom – Ta Prohm
Start the day with morning meditation at the hotel or a nearby pagoda. Then, explore the antique capital of Angkor Thom, founded in the 12th century, starting with the South Gate adorned with huge statues depicting the Churning of the Ocean of Milk. Continue to Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara, and visit the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Terrace of Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch is at a local restaurant.
Afternoon, discover Angkor Wat, the most famous temple on the plain of Angkor. Covering 81 hectares, it rivals the Imperial Palace in Beijing in size, and its iconic five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag. This 12th-century masterpiece is celebrated as the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture, with galleries and bas-reliefs depicting Buddhist cosmology.
The monk blessing ceremony can be arranged upon request (see Optional service section below for details).

Day 11: Siem Reap – Full Day Banteay Srei – Local Pagodas
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Banteay Srei Temple, located 35 km from Siem Reap. Known as the “Citadel of Women” and built of pink sandstone, this temple is famous for its intricate carvings depicting Buddhist and Hindu mythology. Guests will explore the temple, learn about the symbolism of the bas-reliefs, and take photos.
Next, stop at Kbal Spean or a local pagoda near Banteay Srei for light offerings and a short blessing ceremony with monks (can be arranged upon request).
Return to Siem Reap and have lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, visit Wat Preah Prom Rath, one of the oldest pagodas in the city. Here, guests will gain insights into the daily life of Cambodian monks, learn about Theravada Buddhism and meditation, participate in Q&A or interaction with the monks, and enjoy quiet meditation or reflection time within the pagoda grounds.
Finally, transfer back to the hotel for rest and relaxation.

Day 12: Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake - City Orientation
In the morning, transfer to Kampong Phluk (22 km from Siem Reap), an extraordinary floating village built on 8–10-meter-high stilts. Home to around 3,000 Khmer inhabitants, the village is surrounded by mangrove forests that provide shelter for hundreds of freshwater fish and bird species. Local life here is deeply connected to fishing and, more recently, tourism. A traditional wooden boat ride will take you through the flooded forest of the Great Tonle Sap Lake, offering a glimpse of ethnic stilted houses rising above the water and the unique ecosystem that sustains the community. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit Preah Ang Chek & Preah Ang Chorm Shrine in the Royal Residence area to pay respects and make offerings, a meaningful ritual for many Cambodians. Continue to Wat Bo Pagoda, one of the oldest temples in Siem Reap, where you will be introduced to Cambodian Buddhism and have the chance to light incense or candles for blessings.

Day 13: Siem Reap Departure
