Lamberti Tháp Tower
A special attraction in Verona, next to the Colosseum, is the Lamberti tower. You can enjoy the best view of Verona from the tower. Right next to the tower, you can reach the Signori square through the archway of the Arco della Costa.
Standing proudly on Piazza Delle Erbe, Torre dei Lamberti is the tallest tower in Verona standing at 84m.
Construction initially began in 1100, however, the tower was in a state of disrepair and it was not until the 15th century that the tower was enlarged and completed in its entirety.
Different time periods can be seen when looking at the tower as it is divided into different sections. A huge clock face adorns the wall facing the square, and the tower is topped with an octagonal dome containing a series of marble arches.
If you want to see Verona from a different angle, you can climb to the top of the tower and see the entire city spread out before your eyes.
