The temple is located in Trung Am village, Ly Hoc commune, Vinh Bao district, Hai Phong city. The temple area is 13 hectares wide, and is a place to display many artifacts about the life and career of Trang Trinh Nguyen Binh Khiem.
Nguyen Binh Khiem was awarded the first name Doctorate (ie Poinsettia) in 1535 under the reign of Mac Dang Dung. He was an honest mandarin, always wholeheartedly for the country and the people. In 1542, he hung his hat from the mandarin and went back to his hometown to hide after offering to beg 18 depraved people but was not approved by the king. Although he returned to his hometown, the king often consulted him on important matters. According to some sources, the temple of Nguyen Binh Khiem was built after his death and completed at the end of 1586. Over the years, the temple area has deteriorated and been restored many times. The biggest time was in 1991, the relic was restored, restored, expanded, erected a monument, set up a square, built a semicircular lake, with the scale and landscape kept to this day. In the campus, there is a main temple to worship Trinh Nguyen Binh Khiem and a temple for his father and mother. There are many works inside the campus, but the most prominent are two lakes: Thai at and Thai sip, built with two structures, a square lake and a circular lake symbolizing heaven and earth. In the middle of Thai Nham lake, there is a small island, connected to the shore by a green stone bridge with 5 spans, this is a very beautiful photo spot that attracts many tourists. Here there is a population of life-size statues that have been restored to depict the scene where the old man returned to his hometown to be welcomed by the people in the area.
