BIG STUFF BBQ

Founded in early 2013 by Tobias Bürger and Anna Lai, originally a newspaper writer and tailor, a couple with absolutely no experience in restaurant management. However, both have lived in New York and love American barbecue culture. Thus began the story of the stationary stand in Kreuzberg, Berlin.

The dishes at Big Stuff are all meat-focused, with guests having a choice between tender pulled pork, pork belly, short ribs and beef brisket. Big Stuff's highlights are pulled pork and pork belly, which are sourced from premium Duroc pork from the South of Germany and none as tender as Big Stuff in Berlin. Diners coming here always have to try the pulled pork sandwich, it's simply a combination of pulled pork, salad leaves, green apple BBQ and BBQ sauce in one of the buffet sandwiches, but the quality of the meat comes down to the richness of the water. The sauce is great.

The bit of modern style they put into their BBQ meat, along with unique spices, sauces and crispy sandwiches always make every meal here a delightful experience for diners, creating a a special place for Big Stuff in the hearts of those who love to eat American-style smokey BBQ.
