Begin your experience at Hanhsilk Showroom inside a beautifully preserved house that is over 100 years old, where Vietnamese silk culture comes to life.
Learn about the journey from mulberry cultivation and silkworm raising to the weaving of Nam Cao silk, one of Vietnam’s traditional silk crafts.
Experience traditional silk-making activities including silk spinning, wheel turning, and bobbin winding under the guidance of workshop instructors.
Discover the differences between silk fiber, dupioni silk, genuine silk, and imitation silk through practical demonstrations.
Listen to the story of Hanhsilk’s efforts to revive Nam Cao silk and preserve traditional Vietnamese craftsmanship.
Learn basic techniques for creating handmade silk products suitable for beginners and creative enthusiasts.
Choose one of two creative activities: silk scarf embroidery or silk bead bracelet making based on your personal preference.
Create and complete your own handmade souvenir as a meaningful keepsake or gift.
Take souvenir photos and bring home your finished handmade creation at the end of the workshop.
