Profile
Pearl Harbor is famous after the historic attack in 1941, which killed 1,177 service members of the USS Arizona.
Currently, this place is home to a number of attractions in the World War II Valor in the Pacific Memorial complex, such as the USS Arizona Memorial. The memorial is built above the wreck of the old shipwreck below. Some parts of the ship are still sticking out of the water. The memorial can be visited for free, however, as it is a popular landmark, it is advisable to book tickets in advance.
Another notable attraction is the Pacific Aviation Museum on Ford Island, where visitors can see aircraft and artifacts from World War II. Here, visitors have the opportunity to experience aircraft landing on an aircraft carrier through a flight simulator.
Other attractions include the USS Oklahoma, the USS Utah, and the USS Missour, whose deck is open to visitors.
For admission tickets and more information about tours and transfers between attractions, guests can visit the Customer Care Center.
