This is what makes Pavé an attractive option for almost any time of the day. High quality, reasonably priced, and while the vibe can be a bit hipster intuitively coupled with great food and stuff. Located about halfway between Milano Centrale station and the Storico Mall, it's a convenient stopover if you're staying close to the station but heading into the city centre.

An intimate atmosphere to taste good food.

Pavé was founded in 2012 from the dream of three friends with the idea of creating an excellent place for Italian pastry.

Awarded as the best bar in Milan and among the 50 best Italian pastry shops by guide Gambero Rosso for eight consecutive years (2012-2019), Pavé wanted to provide an intimate atmosphere to taste delicious food.

In 2014, the New York Times recommended Pavé as one of the places to visit during Expo 2015.

In July 2015, the online store was launched to meet the requirements of foreign audiences and especially Italians abroad.

In April 2016 Pavé-Gelati & Granite was inaugurated, a small shop in the center of Milan offering ice cream and granitas made with high quality ingredients. The flavors are among the most unusual, inspired directly by the pastry shop at headquarters.

The second pastry shop, Pavé-Break, was inaugurated in July 2016 in the Porta Romana district.

The last standout event is from February 2018: Pavé-Birra was born, precisely in front of the main office via Felice Casati. This is a brewery with a wide range of craft beers poured from the tap and in bottles to accompany seriously prepared high quality hot dogs.

Panzerotti Luini specialty bakery

It's not noisy when enjoying delicious street food like this. Luini has a specialty: pan sized panzerotti, which are small pizzas stuffed with the filling of your choice then folded and fried. Other than large grilled calzones, pan sized panzerotti are smaller and you can try two or three different varieties. Luini has been selling them since 1888, so suffice it to say, they know their dishes well. Sweet and savory versions are both available. Don't be surprised to see a long line spill out the door.

Calling Peck a gourmet food store is like calling the Colosseum a sports arena - it's completely unfair. Instead, Peck calls itself "The Temple of Italian Cuisine", giving you a better idea of what's in store, from meats, cheeses, olives, breads, pastas, truffles, and meticulously crafted desserts. Come here for unique gifts to take home or for unforgettable picnics, but remember, prices can add up quickly. The on-site restaurants are a culinary mix.
