Founded in 1928 by Romanian immigrant Reuben Schwartz, Schwartz's Deli restaurant on Saint-Laurent Avenue is famous for its famous bacon. Schwartz's Deli is designed with a cozy space with long red wooden tables, vintage wall paintings, all reminding diners of restaurants in the 90s.

What makes the restaurant famous is the recipe for marinating the meat. Instead of using additives, Schwartz's Deli simply combines herbs and blends to create a special formula. And the meat will be marinated for 10 days to fully absorb the spices. This formula remains the same after 80 years.
