With 11 Machiya in beautifully restored Kyoto, Iori Machiya Stay offers you the chance to live like a true Kyoto resident, but with all the comforts of the modern era. Each machiya has been beautifully restored and equipped with a host of modern features for the comfort and convenience of foreign visitors - things like underfloor heating, reading lights, kitchenettes, wifi, shower (apart from the wooden tub), washing machine, etc. Of course, you can try sleeping on a futon on a tatami mat, but if you prefer, you can also sleep on a Western-style raised bed.
