Grouse Mountain

Grouse Mountain was the first place where a twin cable car system was installed in the world. From being conquered by a group of trekkers in 1894 to the present day, the mountain has undergone numerous upgrades and facilities expansion due to increasing demand from visitors.

This is a favorite place for adventurers or simply for a long hike. In winter, at Grouse Mountain, visitors can choose for themselves a suitable ski route because there are more than 10 different runs with levels from easy to difficult. If visitors are interested in learning about history, the Lumberjack show with interesting activities such as climbing trees, throwing axes or cutting trees while standing on a board for 45 minutes is the right choice. Grouse Mountain also has an endangered wildlife center that is home to many rare animals and an orphanage that takes care of children who have not been protected by their parents.
