World Erotic Art Museum

Miami is the only place in the US that has a museum dedicated to the display of "erotic" works. The museum opened in 2005, starting with a collection of 4,000 works by Naomi Wilzig.

The Sex Museum (WEAM) has more than 20 rooms and is more than 1,114 m² (12,000 ft²), filled with "sex" artwork. The collection includes many art genres such as a giant penis statue or a picture of a woman taking a selfie. In addition to works from folklore, there are also works of big names such as Rembrandt, Picasso, Salvador Dalo, Fernando Botero....

In particular, even though it is a museum about sex, WEAM is proud to be an "elegant" place, not vulgar and highly educational. The works here "tell" the story of sex in a different light, are an important inspiration for the art of many cultures around the world such as Hindi, Africa or China...
