Bunratty Castle located in North Munster, Ireland was built by the McNamara family in 1425 and went through many different owners until falling into disrepair. In 1954, General Lord Gort bought the castle and restored it completely. Bunratty was officially opened to the public in 1960.

It is now a restored castle with over 450 of the most original medieval furniture and artifacts in Ireland. This is a great place to take photos or enjoy a medieval feast.

Guests will also have the opportunity to visit the nearby Woolen Mills store, or for those who prefer, you can get a snack or maybe even a pint of Guinness in "Durty Nelly's" - a famous traditional country pub. We then depart from Bunratty and make our way back to Dublin!
