Xueba National Park was established in 1992, facing Guyan and Leshan Mountains to the north, Dajia River to the east, Beikeng and Xiaoxueshan Mountains to the west, and Yuluowei and Dajia Rivers to the south. With a total area of 76,850 hectares, it is the 5th largest national park in Taiwan. Come on. You will have the opportunity to admire the same mountain scenery, mountains of different heights: the highest mountain is Xueshan, 3,886 meters high and is the second highest mountain in Taiwan. Xueshan, Yushan, Nanhuda, Xiuguluan Mountain and Beidawu which are the five highest mountains in Taiwan are all in this area.
The national park attracts visitors by its spectacular terrain and majestic natural landscape. The mountains in the park originate from major rivers in northern and central Taiwan. The park receives an average of 1,500 mm to 3,000 mm of rainfall per year and is an important source of water for the island nation of Taiwan: Takejin Creek flows north to join the Danshui River, providing Taipei's domestic water supply. The Dajia and Da-an rivers flow west and northwest to supply water to the mountainous districts of Taichung City. The Touqian River flows northwest to the Hsinchu district. The erosion of the rivers has created beautiful scenes that will leave you in awe. The climate here is sub-glacial and temperate, so it has a rich variety of plants and animals. The wildlife here includes salmon, black bears, etc.
If you are an adventurous person and want to immerse yourself in the majestic natural mountain scenery, then Tuyet Ba National Park should definitely be on your list of priority destinations.
