Sung Hung Pagoda is located at Tran Hung Dao Street, Duong Dong Town on Phu Quoc Island. It is said that the pagoda is a merger of two temples Sung Nghia and Hung Nhan, which were previously established with the main purpose of praying for the deceased.

The main gate of the pagoda is made in the traditional three-door style, leading to the white statue of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara (Goddess of Mercy) in the middle of the courtyard, along with tall, shady Bodhi trees that create a sense of awe. space peace.
The main hall of Sung Hung Pagoda is elaborately and carefully decorated, this is the place to worship the three most important deities including Amitabha, Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva and Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. Behind the worshiping statues is a work called "Dragon Flying" by artist Cao Sanh. Walking along the main hall, visitors will come to a sacred place to worship the national hero Nguyen Trung Truc, who devoted his life to fighting the French colonialists and protecting the peaceful lives of local people.
Besides, the pagoda also has a famous bell named "Dai Hong Chung", the sound of which can echo the whole island and many other unique works of art inside the premises.
