Dig this Las Vegas

icon-location800 W Roban Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89044, USA
This large site allows teenagers and adults to operate heavy construction equipment in a safe and controlled environment. Visitors can use the equipment alone or in groups and experience everything from stacking tires to digging holes or even destroying a vehicle.

Dig This Las Vegas is the creation of New Zealand man Ed Mumm. He had a great time using heavy equipment to clear the ground for his house, from then on, he thought that people probably like playing with sand like me, those were the first ideas. to form this unique entertainment area. Dig This Las Vegas' first location was in Colorado, then in 2011 it officially moved to Las Vegas.

As soon as a traveler makes their reservation, everyone gets to choose their equipment, such as the Caterpillar D5K Rail Bulldozer or the Caterpillar 3I5CL Hydraulic Excavator and Slide or Mini Excavator. Visitors will then have to pass a breath test to determine if people are under the influence of alcohol. Note that if the visitor fails to pass this test, the registration fee will not be refunded. If you pass, everyone will be given a shirt and a helmet.

This is the time when visitors officially step foot on the selected device. Dig This instructors walk you through each lever, button, and essentials to operate the machine with the grace of a ballerina along with different warm-up exercises for the bulldozer and machine touch. During this time, visitors are always connected via headset to the instructor to be able to operate the machine smoothly. After only a short period of practice, visitors will have the confidence to start their own business.

Now that everyone has mastered the basic operation of the machine, Dig This Las Vegas staff will guide you through a series of activities to test your skills with games like “Excavator Basketball” or a homemade one. Create and drive the “Teeter-Totter Bulldozer”. After that, visitors will control the device at their own discretion in the allowed area and under the supervision of the instructors.

After the experience period, visitors will be issued an official Certificate of Completion as a souvenir of the rather hard time here.

Finally, people can visit the Dig This Las Vegas retail store, which displays unique branded memorabilia, and take home a scented candle with its signature earthy, sandy scent.
