In April 1992, the Friche la Belle de mai project was born on the site of the former Tobacco Factory. With an area of 45 000 m2, Friche la Belle de mai project was born with the aim of creating a playground, destination and place to express the art of painting and music. It is a place often chosen for live music shows, or performances by singers and musicians.
