Coral Island is very busy during the day by tourists but very quiet at night. If you buy a day tour to the island, it usually includes lunch, but if you go on your own, it is easy to find restaurants on the island.
Both beaches on Coral Island are full of water sports activities, including banana boats, canoes and snorkeling. At Bai Dai, you can experience more paragliding games pulled by a speedboat.
On the island, there is a resort called Coral Island that often organizes batik painting classes and scuba diving classes. Classes are available in English, Chinese or Thai. At the east end of Bai Dai there is also an outdoor pavilion serving massages.
You can get to Coral Island by renting a boat at Rawai beach or Chalong pier. If you want to travel by speedboat, book a snorkeling tour from Chalong to reach the island in 15 minutes. You will be provided with professional diving equipment and a buffet lunch.
If you are taken by boat to Bai Dai but want to explore Bai Chuoi, you can follow a trail to the east of Bai Dai that leads through a forest. It takes about 15 minutes to walk, the road is quite difficult to go, so it is not suitable for the elderly and young children.
