Sakip Sabanci Museum of Fine Arts
The Sakip Sabanci Museum is a private fine art museum displaying excellent collections from the Ottoman era, housed in a beautiful white residence on the banks of the Bosphorus in the Emirgan district. The museum was opened in 2002 in memory of the famous Turkish businessman Sakip Sabanci (1933-2004).
The museum is home to exhibits on Ottoman Calligraphy, religious and historical documents, Ottoman paintings, archaeological and stone works, furniture collections, and other exhibits. Outstanding work of decorative arts.

Exterior
The museum is built in a white mansion also known as Atli Kosk (The Mansion with Horses) with a beautiful garden overlooking the Boshorus and two elaborate horse statues.
Garden
The houses have beautiful old fountains and some marble artifacts from Roman and Byzantium times.
Horse sculpture
One of the horse sculptures is located by the gate and is the work of the French sculptor dating from 1864. The second horse sculpture is located at the main entrance of the garden and it is a cast statue of a of four bronze horses taken from Sultanahmet Square, when the square was sacked by the Crusaders in 1204. The statue was later taken to the Basilica of San Marco in Venice. This statue is a replica of a sculpture that Hacı Ömer Sabancı saw near Milan

- The Art of Books and Calligraphy (works of famous calligraphers, the Koran and illuminated manuscripts)
- Collection of paintings (early Turkish paintings, works by foreign artists from the late Ottoman years)
- Collection of Furniture and Decorative Arts
- Collection of Abidin Dino Archive (famous Turkish artist, including drawings, drafts, studies of sculpture)
- Emirgan Archives (includes old photos of Emirgan)
The miniature Koran, written in 1635, is bound in tiny leather and measures 3.5 × 2.2 cm. is one of the museum's most valuable artifacts.

Public bus
The most practical way to get to the Sakip Sabanci Museum is by taking a public bus. The bus route operates across the Bosphorus banks via Emirgan and Sariyer. Get off at Cinaralti bus stop. Some routes include:
- Routes 40, 40T and 42T from Taksim
- Routes 22, 22RE and 25E from Kabatas (accessible by Bagcilar-Kabatas tram line T1)
- Route 40B from Besiktas
- Line EL2 (Emirgân - 4. Levent Metro Ring (Subway))
- Line 59RH (Rumeli Hisarüstü - İstinye / Hacıosman Metro Station) (accessible by metro line Yenikapi-Taksim-Haciosman M2)

Public Ferry
Visitors can also take the Public Ferry Bosphorus route that operates between Eminonu-Rumeli Kavagi and get off at Emirgan Pier. (Eminonu, Besiktas, Arnavutkoy, Bebek, Emirgan, Istinye, Buyukdere, Sariyer, Rumeli Kavagi stop)

Hop On & Hop Off Tour by Bosphorus
Visitors can also take the Dentur Avrasya boat that departs from Kabatas and follows the route to Besiktas, Emirgan, Kucuksu Pavilion, Beylerbeyi Palace, and back to Kabatas, the starting point. You can join the tour by picking up a one-way ticket (12.5 liras sold only at Emirgan, Beylerbeyi and Kucuksu piers) from the pier
