Previously, Phu Quoc also had another night market, Dinh Cau, but in 2016, Dinh Cau night market merged with Bach Dang night market into Phu Quoc night market. Therefore, the area of Phu Quoc night market is improved, the stalls are more spacious, selling more items and also welcoming more tourists to shop.

Phu Quoc night market is open from the evening and waits for customers until late at night. The stalls start selling at around 4pm and close for business at around 11pm. Depending on the weather and the number of customers, the opening hours may be shorter or longer, sometimes it can be crowded until 2pm the next day and the market is usually most crowded around 19:00 to 22:00.

Currently, Phu Quoc night market has about 100 stalls offering many different products such as handicrafts, jewelry, souvenirs and especially fresh seafood dishes prepared directly.
