Only a few years ago, Laos and Cambodia opened their doors to foreigners, but there are now ample opportunities to immerse yourself in the culture and experience untouched nature. The journey begins in Laos with a stay in the royal city of Luang Prabang, known for its impressive temples. Then, you’ll enjoy a ride on the new high-speed train through magical landscapes, where limestone cliffs rise like mushrooms amidst rainforest-covered mountains. Finally, a visit to the capital, Vientiane, awaits, a city influenced by French colonial rule.
In Cambodia, we start in the capital, Phnom Penh, where we explore the lively city and delve into the country’s dark chapter, the tragic story of the Pol Pot regime. Next, the journey continues to Siem Reap, where you’ll have ample time to explore one of the highlights of the trip: the legendary Angkor Wat temple complex. This magnificent jewel of Khmer architecture stands as a remarkable testament to the greatness and fall of the Khmer Empire. Beyond the famous highlights, you’ll visit small villages, vibrant markets, and experience nature through boat trips in both countries.
Join us on an exciting and unique round trip through Laos and Cambodia, filled with many surprising experiences along the way.
• Enjoy a boat
trip on Tonle Sap Lake, exploring the floating villages, and take the
