Overview

The one-day Red River boat tour offers a unique perspective on Hanoi – aboard the historic Red River . The journey takes visitors downstream, admiring riverside fishing villages , traditional craft villages, and spiritual sites connected to the lives of the people of Northern Vietnam in the past.

Visitors will tour Dam Temple and Dai Lo Temple , sacred Mother Goddess shrines typical of Vietnamese folk beliefs. The journey continues with a relaxing lunch on the boat , enjoying the scenery along the riverbanks before visiting Bat Trang Pottery Village – a famous and long-standing traditional craft village of Hanoi.

Meeting and pickup

Departure: 838 Bach Dang Pier, Hanoi
Conclusion: Return to Bach Dang Wharf, ending the day tour.

Program schedule

08:00 – Arrive at pier 838 Bach Dang, complete boarding procedures.
08:50 – The boat departs, sailing down the Red River, admiring the fishing villages and traditional craft villages along the river, and enjoying entertainment on board.
10:00 AM – Visit Dam Temple & Dai Lo Temple
11:30 – Return to the ship, have lunch on board while traveling.
13:30 – Arrive at Bat Trang pottery village, visit, shop & experience pottery making.
15:40 – Return to ship
16:30 – Return to the dock, end of the program.

Guests are responsible for making their own way to the pier on time.
You should bring a hat, sunscreen, and a camera.
