Carnival

"Carnival is a big annual festival in French cities that takes place from February to April depending on the region. It is a hand in hand for peace, regardless of skin color, race, together. live in a world full of light, color, and rhythm."

The origins of Carnival can be traced back to Roman Catholic societies, and Protestant places do not usually have these festivals. Christians must fast during Lent, or "Fasting," which begins in March each year. During the ceremony, people are not allowed to eat meat. Therefore, before the Lent festival, believers want to have days of eating and partying to their heart's content and this is the origin of the Carnival. The word "Carnival" comes from the Latin word Carne Levale, which means "to eat meat to your heart's content". This festival is required to end one day earlier before the Lent festival is started.

The carnival festival is not only attractive to a few localities of France but also spread around the world because of the noble humanistic meaning that the festival conveys. It is joining hands for peace, regardless of skin color, race, living together in a world full of light, color and rhythm.
