Half-day tour Bay Mau Coconut Forest – Bamboo basket boat is an interesting eco-journey, where you can experience the unique river life of the Central region. Departing daily from Da Nang or Hoi An , the tour takes you to Bay Mau Coconut Forest – “miniature West” of Quang Nam, where you can row a basket boat, listen to folk songs, watch fishermen perform net casting techniques and create handmade coconut leaves. The program has two options: morning (09:00–13:30) or afternoon (15:00–19:30) , suitable for both individual guests and families.

Program schedule

Option 1: Morning tour (9:00 – 13:30)

09:00: Car and tour guide pick up guests at the hotel, depart for Bay Mau Coconut Forest .
09:45: Arrive at the tourist area, walk about 200m to the pier, start the journey by bamboo basket boat .
10:00: Experience rowing a boat through the coconut forest , admire the charming river scenery, participate in making handicrafts from coconut leaves (hats, glasses, watches) and watch fishermen perform unique "basket spinning" techniques with traditional folk songs .
11:30 – 12:00: Lunch at a local restaurant and rest.
13:00 – 13:30: Return guests to hotel.
End of program – See you again!

Option 2: Afternoon tour (15:00 – 19:30)

15:00: Car and tour guide pick up guests at the hotel, depart for Bay Mau Coconut Forest .
15:45: Arrive at the tourist area, walk to the pier and get on a bamboo basket boat .
16:00: Experience rowing a boat in the coconut forest, watch basket spinning performances, sing folk songs, and participate in making souvenirs from coconut leaves .
17:30 – 18:00: Dinner at local restaurant.
19:00 – 19:30: Return guests to hotel.
End of program – See you again!
