Profile
For many people born before the 1980s, they know the difficulties of the subsidy period, this is a special historical period of our country. The time when goods were distributed to people by stamps, although long passed, many people still hold nostalgia for the past. Mau Dich Coffee is a place where not only the elderly come to review old memories with subsidized items such as bicycles, televisions, personal items ... but also where young people understand what the world is like. Previous generations have experienced and seen with their own eyes the items that were previously only heard through the stories of grandparents and parents.
The shop is located on Han Thuyen street of Thanh Hoa city, from afar, the restaurant stands out with its yellow paint and red tile roof in front of the veranda. The color that reminds people of the subsidized houses with red tiles and yellow walls. The interesting thing in the shop is that there are more than 300 artifacts produced before 1975, from stamps, to lamps, to tables and chairs, bicycles, etc. The items have been meticulously searched and collected by the owner of the shop. Many middle-aged people who come to the shop feel like going back in time to the subsidy period of the difficult times but also bring memories.
