Chives soup cake

Tuy Hoa shallot soup is similar to the soup cake in the Central Coast provinces. Broth is usually cooked with fish head (and fish body). Banh soup made from rice flour and tapioca. Fish cake is usually made from termite fish, bottle fish.

A bowl of banh chung consists of banh chung, a few pieces of fish cake, 1 quail egg, 2 tablespoons of chopped chives, pepper, and hot broth. Eating Banh Canh must be hot with a cup of fish sauce. Usually, people in the Central region dip bread without broth when eating. This side dish fills the stomachs of workers, students or tourists from afar, adding energy for the whole day.
