Our main meeting point for this tour is the Old Melbourne Gaol, 377 Russell St, Melbourne (opposite Space Hotel).

We invite you to join us on this scenic drive to this magical winter wonderland. You can be sure that you are going to have an unforgettable experience of action and adventure at this family-friendly snow mountain resort. With its picturesque chalets overlooking the mountains and miles of cross-country ski tracks and toboggan fields, Lake Mountain is Melbourne's closest snow resort, which boasts a wide variety of cross-country ski trails and toboggan fields. Make a snowman, go tobogganing, take a cross-country skiing lesson, or just throw some snowballs around.

We drive right up to the snow, so there is no need to take any lifts or transfer buses to get to the snow. On the mountain, you'll have 3 hours to take in the beauty and revel in the snow play, jump on the thrilling tube run, experience exhilarating toboggan rides, and enjoy the wide network of world-class cross-country ski trails or hike up to the summit views. As part of the experience, guests will have the opportunity to support locals and buy something for lunch at Beechworth Bakery in Healesville or while on the mountain (at the guest's own expense).

We will then visit some of Victoria's tallest waterfalls, Steavenson Waterfalls in Marysville, before stopping off at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery to get your taste buds tingling.

The perfect way to end the day is with a deliciously smooth Hot Chocolate or some of their locally infused ice-cream flavoured with ingredients sourced directly from the kitchen garden. For those who have never been to a snowy destination before, this is an excellent winter wonderland escape.

*Alternative schedule routes may operate during extreme weather conditions. Equipment Hire is at guests’ own expense and can be arranged once you arrive at Lake Mountain.

• Snow equipment hire can be arranged on arrival to Lake Mountain and is at own expense.
• Please provide the guest's contact phone number at the time of booking (either international with country code or Australian number).
• Autopia Tours reserves the right to alter the route or itinerary schedule during extreme weather conditions and/or during resort closures.
• Child fare prices apply to children aged between 0 to 12 years old.
  
• Infants aged 0 to 4 are permitted to travel on adult laps and must be safely restrained. Child fare prices apply to infants.
• This terrain is not suitable for mobility-impaired travellers, wheelchairs, walkers, prams or strollers.
• Limited storage space on our vehicle, baggage kept to 1 x 5-7kg day bag per person. Please leave your suitcase and luggage at your hotel.

Cancellation by the Traveller:

We understand that travel plans can sometimes change, if you cancel some or all portions of your booking the cancellation terms set out below will apply. A cancellation will only take effect when we receive written confirmation that you have sent to your relevant booking agent notifying them of your cancellation.

If you wish to change or cancel a trip:

Day Trips

(a) 0 to 1 day / within 24-hrs from the experience start time or failure to board on tour:

• will result in a 100% cancellation fee / full fare forfeiture of the ticket price and not eligible for a refund; or

(b) 2 to 6 days prior to the departure:

• will result in a 50% cancellation fee, to cover unrecoverable tour expenses; or

(c) 7+ days prior to the departure:

• we will refund the full balance paid by you in connection with your booking; or
• flexible date changes - unlimited supply of free date changes available; or
• alternatively, we can issue a credit voucher for the amount paid to travel on another day
