The safari takes you off the beaten tracks of the regular touristic routes and further into the Wild of this Southern Lapland area. The route is not set and depends on your riding skills and weather conditions of the day. However, the driving distance is long and a mini adventure is the focus of this tour. Approximately half way through this full day adventure you will stop for a delicious lunch around a traditional Finnish campfire where the guide will teach you the skills needed to light the fire using dry birch bark and a flint and steel. Not only will you warm up around the fire but you will fill up with energy for the afternoon ahead!
For this tour single driving is highly recommended and it is for ADULTS only.
Please note you will stay outdoors for a minimum of 5,5 - 6 hours and have a long snowmobile ride - the 8 hour tour time includes transfers to and from the start/finish location. Two adults ride on one snowmobile, single riding supplement for extra charge. Single riding is much more enjoyable due to the nature and duration of the tour. Adults only!
The snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the snowmobile. The driver is held liable for a flat rate of 1000 € per person in case of an accident.

Cold weather clothing will be provided, but we recommend to dress appropriately. Not recommended for participants with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions. This experience may require a certain amount of endurance.
Hotel pick-ups commence 10 - 60 minutes prior to the start time. Your pick up time will be confirmed by email.

• The driver of a snowmobile has to be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving license – A1, T, A or B category (please check that it is valid in Finland). For all snowmobile tours we ask you to take your driving license with you. Also a copy or photo is suitable.
• Please note that it is strictly prohibited to drive a snowmobile under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• The starting point for the safari is stated in the booking confirmation.

What do I need to bring?

• Valid driving license,
• Bottle of water,
• We will provide you with overalls and boots, but please be prepared and use good under-layers.

• We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event
• We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event
• We will charge a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 365 days or less before the event
