Finland-Rovaniemi-Family Snowmobile Safari

Include:

• Price includes all activities, services and equipment in the program.
• Pick up/drop off service from meeting point in Rovaniemi cityt center, Ounasvaara hotels, Santa Claus Village and Arctic Treehouse Hotel.
• 1 hour 30-40 minutes drive on a 2-seater shared snowmobile.
• Thermal clothing, boots, gloves, wool socks, scarf and helmet.
• Short stops throughout the tour to take photos of the beautiful scenery.
• Tour guide in English, other languages upon request.
• A mini-snowmobile ride for children in a safe area (5 – 10 minutes) and a bonfire picnic with grilled sausages and hot Lappish berry juice. The duration of these activities is 1 hour.

Not included:

General note:

• In winter you always need to have winter clothes for all shows.
• All tours listed are for a minimum of 2 people paying full price (adults), unless otherwise mentioned.
• All equipment rental and tour reservations require 100% prepayment to be confirmed.
• Transfers from Vaattunki Wilderness Resort and Apukka Resort are available for an additional fee (€25 per person).

Tour guide:

Surcharge for tour guides in other languages (other than English):

• 39€/hour from Monday to Saturday.
• 55€/hour on Sundays or holidays.

Snowmobile tour:

• The snowmobile driver must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driving license – class A1, T, A or B (please check if it is valid in Finland). For all snowmobile tours, we require you to bring your driver's license. Also a copy or photo is suitable.
• Please note that driving a snowmobile under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
• Teens must be at least 140cm tall to ride on a sled at adult prices.
• Children will ride on a sled pulled by a guided snowmobile if the type of tour allows.
• Sledding is not recommended for children under 3 years old.
• Riding the mini-snowmobile is suitable for children from 3 up to 11 – 12 years old. Smaller children will be assisted by the guide. Parents are not allowed to drive the mini-snowmobiles with the child due to safety reasons.

We will charge a cancellation fee of 25.00€/person if the booking is canceled 8 days or more before the event.

We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% of the tour price if the booking is canceled 7 days or less before the event.
