Wuling Ranch South Valley is a beautiful and peaceful area in Nantou County, located 2,610 meters above sea level, in the Alishan National Park area. This place has a cool climate all year round, beautiful natural scenery, especially the sunrise and sea of clouds. This is also the starting point of many hiking and climbing routes, such as the route to the top of Yushan, the highest mountain in Taiwan.
The tea garden is one of the famous tea growing locations in Taiwan, with an area of about 100 hectares, growing many types of high mountain tea, such as oolong tea, green tea, black tea and mint tea. The tea garden has a lush green landscape, with winding tea hills, rows of green trees and flying white clouds. This is also where visitors can enjoy tea, learn how to brew tea, buy tea and participate in fun activities, such as picking tea, making tea cakes and playing traditional games.
Walking to see cherry blossoms is a wonderful experience for those who love beautiful flowers. In spring, from January to March, the Valley is covered with pink cherry blossoms, creating a beautiful scene that cannot be missed when traveling to Taiwan. The most popular cherry blossom viewing spots here are Peach Garden, Wuling Road and Tea Garden Road.
