DAY 01: VARANASI CITY – GANGA AARTI CEREMONY EXPERIENCE (No meals included)
After arriving in Varanasi, the tour guide picks up the group at the Railway Station/Airport, then moves to the hotel to check in and rest.
In the evening, get ready to experience one of the most memorable moments of your life, as you will get to go and see the world-famous Ganga Aarti in the city Dashaswamedh Ghat . You will have the opportunity to admire the cultural diversity and socio-religious activities taking place at Ganga Ghats in Varanasi.
The group had dinner and spent the night at the hotel in Varanasi.
DAY 02: VARANASI – MORNING BOAT EXPERIENCE – SARNATH - BUDDHA'S FIRST LECTURE PLACE IN VARANASI (12 KM, 30 minutes) – SRAWASTI (350 KM - 07 hours) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
In the early morning, you will have the opportunity to feel the mystical sacredness of Subah-e-Banaras in Varanasi , the group will have the opportunity to enjoy a boat trip on the Ganges River at Sunlight. Sunrise, sightseeing, viewing different Ghats of Varanasi city. Each Ghats will have its own story and valuable lessons (boat tickets are on your own).
After breakfast, the group will depart for the Buddhist Sanctuary of Deer Park (Sarnath) . Sarnath is where Buddha first preached to his disciples at Deer Park (Rishipattana). Other local tourist attractions of Sarnath are Buddha Temple , Dhamekha Stupa , Chaukhandi Stupa , Mulagandh Kuti Vihara and Archaeological Museum .
After lunch, the group moves to Srawasti , checks in to the hotel, has dinner and stays overnight in Srawasti.
DAY 03: SRAVASTI – LUMBINI BUDDHISM AREA (225 KM - 4 hours) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast, the group departs to visit Jetvanaram & Angulimala Caves . The group will also visit other attractions of Shravasti such as Jetavana Vihara Monastery , Anandha Bodhi Tree , monasteries , Stupa of Angulimala , and Stupa of Anathapindika .
After lunch, the group departs for Lumbini (Please apply for a double-entry visa for India and a single-entry visa for Nepal) .
The group had dinner and spent the night at the hotel in Lumbini.
DAY 04: LUMBINI - KUSHINAGAR CITADEL (KUSHINAGAR), PLACE WHERE BUDDHA ENTERED IN NIRBANA (180 KM, 4 hours) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast, the group departs to visit the place where Shakyamuni Buddha was born. Then, move on to Lumbini's other local attractions such as Maya Devi Temple, Eternal Peace Flame, Lumbini Museum , Thai Buddhist Monastery and Myanmar Golden Temple .
After having lunch, The group moved to Kushinagar Holy Land.
The group had dinner and spent the night in Kushinagar.
DAY 05: KUSHINAGAR HOLY LAND (KUSHINAGAR) - MAHAPARINIRVANA PAGODA (Great Prajnaparamita) - RAMBHAR STUDIO - KESARIYA MAJOR STUDIO (150 KM, 2 hours) - VAISHALI Citadel (120 KM, 3 hours) ) – PATNA CITY (50 KM, 1 hour) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast, the group departs for attractions at Kushinagar Buddhist Sanctuary such as Mahaparinirvana Temple (where Buddha entered Nirvana), Rambhar Stupa (where Buddha was cremated) and Japanese Pagoda .
After lunch, the group departed for the city of Patna , on the way to visit the world's largest ancient Buddhist stupa - Kesaria stupa .
The group continued to move to the place of the Buddha's last sermon - Vaishali . Next, visit other tourist attractions of Vaishali such as Ashokan Pillar (lion symbol), Ananda Stupa , Abhishek Pushkaran , Buddha Stupa , Kutagar Shala Vihara and many other interesting places.
Continue moving to Patna city, check in to the hotel, have dinner and spend the night in Patna.
DAY 06: PATNA - NALANDA (80 KM, 2 hours) - NALANDA UNIVERSITY - RAJGIR (15 KM, 30 minutes) - BODHGAYA (35 KM, 2 hours) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast , the group departs for Nalanda Citadel to visit the archaeological site of Nalanda University . There are 10,000 monks and professors studying religion here. After walking around the ruins, the group continued to visit Xuan Zang Memorial House - a Chinese temple.
After that, the group moved to Rajgir, where the group had lunch at a local restaurant.
Rajgir is known as the ancient capital of the Magadha Empire and a place of pilgrimage for Buddhists. Japanese Buddhists built the massive Vishwa Shanti Stupa on the Ratnagiri hill. The stupa has statues of Buddha in the four stages of life "birth, enlightenment, preaching and nirvana". Griddhakuta Mountain is another place where the Buddha stopped to preach. Next, the group visited Venuvanaram and Bimbisar Prisons . After that, the group moved to Bodh Gaya to check in, have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.
DAY 07: BODHGAYA - WHERE BUDDHA PRACTICED BUDDHISM (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast, the group departs to visit Maha bodhi Temple, explore other local tourist attractions in Bodhgaya such as the Bodhi Tree where Buddha attained enlightenment and other Buddhist monasteries.
After having lunch at the hotel, the group continued to visit Maha bodhi Temple. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a world-famous Buddhist pilgrimage site in India, built in the 6th century BC adjacent to the place of enlightenment of Siddhartha.
The group returned to the hotel and spent the night in Bodhgaya.
DAY 08: BODHGAYA (Breakfast)
After breakfast, the car takes the group to the Airport/Station
